Inspired by the Calais Pier painting, from Joseph Mallord William Turner

I had a lecture with Jo Lewis (a landscape painter) in the National Gallery. We stopped in front some paintings and discovered the pictures from a different point of view.
From the Calais Pier painting I've got inspired and I wrote a short, little poem.

Here it is:

Grey, grey, grey.
Not only on the sea.
Lightness? 
Disappears...
And the only hope is the fear.

Fear what tells me:
I'm still alive,
God! Help me to stay alive.
