I had a lecture with Jo Lewis (a landscape painter) in the National Gallery. We stopped in front some paintings and discovered the pictures from a different point of view.
From the Calais Pier painting I've got inspired and I wrote a short, little poem.
Here it is:
Grey, grey, grey.
Not only on the sea.
Lightness?
Disappears...
And the only hope is the fear.
Fear what tells me:
I'm still alive,
God! Help me to stay alive.
