Ideas about the girl in my story...

On Saturday, I went to an art shop to buy some clay, because I felt that it could help me to visualise the girl, Liz. I tried to make her in a pose which could be in the animation somewhere...

On Thursday (17th of March) I had an idea about the girl in my story, I had drawn her face.
But of course, I'm not sure that I would be able to do it in Maya.
Probably she will be more simple at the end.

Colour-balance

Playing with colours...

Edgar Degas - Miss La La at the Cirque Fernando

I've chosen this painting for my final project, after the workshop in the National Gallery.
I was thinking about this painting...I've bought a book about Edgar Degas's life to find out more about this image. Then a couple days later, before sleeping the story came to me.
Suddenly, and without letting me think about anything else...I couldn't sleep properly that night. I was searching for the past. The past what always makes me move on and gives me strength to work on myself.

From the Calais Pier painting I've got inspired and I wrote a short, little poem.

Here it is:

Grey, grey, grey.
Not only on the sea.
Lightness?
Disappears...
And the only hope is the fear.

Fear what tells me:
I'm still alive,
God! Help me to stay alive.

Birdy Studying

I created this image to advertise tutoring. Drawn by hand, coloured by watercolour paint and at the end I decided to create a black and whit...
